Ten in Thailand

Annika turned ten years old in Thailand, all of us taking a much-needed break before going from India to China.  We loved every minute of our time there.  We rode elephants as a special treat.  We worried about their treatment, but Thailand has a long history of protecting elephants, and we had no reason to think that these animals were anything but loved and well cared for.
